Shadow Queen: I never got the opportunity to congratulate my favourite Shadow Siren, Vivian for her transition - though to be fair, it was only after about a thousand years that she finally got around to it. Spit-Roasted Pumpkin With Basting

1) Prepare the cavity of the pumpkin - you can use a spoon or wet washed hands. Try to keep the pumpkin fairly wet as well. You may save any leftover pieces for further cooking.

2) Pierce the pumpkin from both sides with the roasting rod, and cook over a pre-heated rotisserie (or roasting oven) turning constantly at 400 degrees Kelvin for 40 minutes, or until pumpking turns glistening and golden brown.

3) Mix the basting thorougly, and apply generously outside (and inside, if possible). Ensure the pumpkin is kept wet with the baste during the roast. Leave to rest for 10 minutes and serve while warm.
