Spit-Roasted Pumpkin With Basting

1) Prepare the cavity of the pumpkin - you can use a spoon or wet washed hands. Try to keep the pumpkin fairly wet as well. You may save any leftover pieces for further cooking.

2) Pierce the pumpkin from both sides with the roasting rod, and cook over a pre-heated rotisserie (or roasting oven) turning constantly at 400 degrees Kelvin for 40 minutes, or until pumpking turns glistening and golden brown.

3) Mix the basting thorougly, and apply generously outside (and inside, if possible). Ensure the pumpkin is kept wet with the baste during the roast. Leave to rest for 10 minutes and serve while warm.

Hana's Notes: Well, it was a close one, but I did win my match earlier - though not without trouble. At a key moment, my opponent had me pinned down, but I managed to slip out, however, she got me yet again, and for a couple of the middle of the match, I was fairly stuck... Still, I managed to turn the tables on her and I won in round 10.
